Irevan will get its due response for any military adventure

The Armenian leadership is not smart, it behaves inadequately. On the one hand, it breathes peace, on the other hand, it gathers troops on the conventional border with Azerbaijan. The statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan about the concentration of manpower and armored vehicles of the Armenian armed forces on the border also confirms that Yerevan does not want to draw conclusions from recent history, hopes for the imaginary support of the West, and strives to aggravate the situation in the region. However, the leadership of Armenia and its patrons should understand that Azerbaijan will resolutely prevent any military provocation this time, as before!

Armenia, weakened by the defeat in the Second Karabakh War, is now looking for new adventures. Trying to get out from under the Russian umbrella with small but cowardly steps, Yerevan is preparing new provocations on the conventional border with Azerbaijan. Again, following the USA and the European Union, he wants to bite the teeth of the Azerbaijani soldier. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan informs that recently, in various directions of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conventional border, the concentration of active forces of the Armenian armed forces, armored vehicles, artillery installations, as well as other heavy combat vehicles and intensive movement of troops have been observed. The report emphasizes that the revanchist forces threatening Azerbaijan with war have become more active in Armenia recently, the aggressive rhetoric against our country has reached a high level, and the number of provocative information serving to escalate the situation in the information space in order to prepare for provocation attempts is evident.

Could this be a coincidence? The content of the recent contacts of the Armenian leadership with the West gives reason to think that the accumulation of manpower and military equipment by the Armenians on the conventional border cannot be considered a coincidence. Such emboldening of Yerevan is due to the declarations of support from across the ocean and from the "Old Continent". It should be noted that on April 5, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to meet US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels. Official Baku sharply criticizes the holding of the meeting in such a format. Emphasizing that the information that the meeting includes military components causes additional concern and undermines peace-building efforts in the region, official Baku warns that against the background of the revanchist mood in Armenia, such open pro-Armenian public manifestations by Washington and Brussels will lead to possible provocations of Hayastan against Azerbaijan by the EU and the USA. can create a dangerous illusion that will support them.

The latest information of the Ministry of Defense also shows that the warning addressed to the West by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not in vain. Armenians are still under illusion. Yerevan does not want to accept the realities that emerged after the 2020 war. At a time when the normalization process is ongoing, Armenia is not fulfilling its obligations and is thus trying to distract attention by creating tension, thereby harming the normalization process.

The West's promises prevent Armenia from withdrawing from its destructive position. The Western countries that support Yerevan also understand well that the signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia is important for the creation of an environment of stability and cooperation in the South Caucasus region, and for the elimination of conflicts and threats. This issue is discussed in various meetings. However, although the West understands that Armenia has no opportunity to influence regional processes and change the geostrategic realities in the region, it endangers the process of regional reconciliation by trying to include Yerevan in its orbit of interest and promising to provide various assistance.

The motive of the West is known. The West, which is in a global conflict with Russia and China, is trying to secure its interests in different strategic regions of the world. It is no coincidence that the West started a new "Big Game" against the backdrop of the new geopolitical transformation of the South Caucasus region after the Second Karabakh War. Instead of normalizing its relations with regional states, especially Azerbaijan and Turkey, Armenia, which has become a sacrificed pawn on the "big chessboard", is eager to rely on countries located thousands of kilometers away. Support to Armenia, especially from the USA and France, is one of the important steps that pushed Yerevan to revanchism. Armenian officials openly state that they have bought modern weapons and military equipment from France, India, and even other countries. Of course, these statements once again confirm that Armenia is preparing for war, not peace, and is using the capabilities of pro-Armenian international forces in this matter.

Today, France and India play an active role in arming Armenia. The moral and political support of Armenia from the United States is also regrettable. All these facts show that they are interested in starting a new war in the region and are pushing Armenia to do so. The April 5 meeting also serves this purpose and confirms the hypocritical policy of the West once again. The United States and the European Union, which did not hold a single conference for Azerbaijan during the 30-year occupation period, are now trying to support Armenia, which has been an aggressor and trampled on international legal norms for many years. Despite the strategic role played by Azerbaijan in the energy security of the West, the EU is now preparing Yerevan for a new war and creating a mini-NATO mechanism for Armenia, arming it against our country. Of course, Azerbaijan sees all this and takes the necessary steps. However, Armenia and its patrons should not forget that Armenia and its patrons are responsible for what happened. We declare once again that Azerbaijan will resolutely prevent any threat against its national interests.
