Azerbaijani FM meets with his Slovak counterpart in Antalya

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Slovakia Juraj Blanár on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

 

The sides hailed the current state of Azerbaijan-Slovakia bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of joining efforts to further develop these relations and elevate them to the level of strategic partnership.

 

The ministers stressed the significance of high-level reciprocal visits and continuous political dialogue for further development of relations between the two countries. The two agreed that such visits play an important role in enriching the agenda of intergovernmental relations and deepening existing friendly ties.

 

The pair also exchanged views on the possibilities of continuing cooperation based on mutual support within international organizations.

 

The sides underlined the importance of increasing joint efforts in order to implement projects of mutual interest, as well as improve economic and trade relations and cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy and alternative energy.

 

FM Bayramov informed his Slovak counterpart about the current status and prospects of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the current situation and recent developments in the region.

 

During the meeting, the two also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
