Yerevan's attitude is impeding the launch of the Azerbaijan-Russia-Armenia trilateral working group, co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a briefing held today.

"The Armenian government discussed its readiness for opening regional communications within the framework of equality and reciprocity, grounded on principles of sovereignty. Azerbaijan did not oppose this approach. This topic had been extensively discussed within the trilateral working group, co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. Unfortunately, Armenia's position has delayed progress in this matter," Zakharova added.
