The Middle Corridor is vital for the global economy, Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Cahit Bagci, said at the international panel on "New Era in Global Systems, Power Wars, and the South Caucasus," Report informs.

The ambassador spoke about the new realities that have arisen in the region and around the world: "The new reality is that global trust has been shaken, and global actors look at regional issues from their own perspective. The global governance system must be reformed. Global mechanisms do not have the necessary tools to solve problems. Looking at history, we also see that the global mechanisms have not been able to restore justice in Karabakh, Palestine, and Northern Cyprus."

The diplomat emphasized: “Our region shows us that we should be more inclined to cooperation than competition. Türkiye is doing its best to establish permanent peace in Palestine and Ukraine, especially in the South Caucasus. The Middle Corridor is vital for the global economy. We are sure that the peace in the region will create a basis for doing great things. We believe that the Zangazur Corridor will develop regional relations."
