There are direct contacts between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We are closely following, the contacts are proceeding successfully. The Azerbaijani and Armenian governments are demonstrating their efforts and willingness to achieve a final peace,” Head of the Finnish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Kimmo Kiljunen said in his interview to AZERTAC.

Speaking about the signing of a peace agreement, Kimmo Kiljunen noted: “If the parties so wish, this institution should also mediate the process. We must only support this process.”

Expressing his regret over the Azerbaijani delegation’s departing from PACE, Kiljunen described this as a loss.
