Pakistan Independence Day was celebrated in Baku.
According to Report, the event was attended by staff of Pakistan’s Embassy in Azerbaijan, members of the Pakistani community, and other guests.
The ceremony began with the raising of Pakistan’s national flag. This was followed by the reading of messages from Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, highlighting the significance of the day for the people of Pakistan. Prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, and development in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Qasim Mohiuddin, in his address, wished peace and prosperity to his people and emphasized the importance of security for them. He also underlined the historical friendship between the peoples of Pakistan and Azerbaijan and its vital significance.
