“President Trump has stated that he prioritizes peace and seeks to achieve agreements,” said U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
He noted that recent peace agreements are a testament to Trump’s efforts:
“He declared his desire to be a president of peace. Therefore, whenever we see a conflict where we can make a difference, we get involved and have been quite successful in this regard. The India-Pakistan, Thailand-Cambodia, and, a few days ago, the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia are examples of this,” Rubio added.
