The signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will establish peace in the region, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a briefing following negotiations with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili in Tbilisi, according to Report.

"When we agree on and sign a peace treaty (with Azerbaijan), based on generally accepted principles, only then will peace be achieved in the region," he said, adding that work on the agreement is still underway.

Pashinyan is in Tbilisi for a working visit.
