Armenia's recent hostile steps against Azerbaijan in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) have once again demonstrated that this country is not interested in peace and dialogue.
On January 24, the delegation spearheading efforts to block the approval of credentials for the delegation of Azerbaijan to the PACE was led by Ruben Rubinyan, the vice president of the Armenian parliament and a key figure in the Armenia-Türkiye normalization process.
Despite Rubinyan's public discourse advocating peace and dialogue, his recent involvement in this ugly and insidious campaign reveals that his calls for peace and dialogue in the region lack sincerity.
