In Armenia, it got mixed up again. Some public forces - supporters of the "HayaKve" (Armenian referendum and "Haya Vote") initiative gathered in front of the parliament and proposed to add two articles to the Criminal Code of the country. In fact, the project was entirely initiated by the initiative. The first proposal is as follows: "A public official acting on behalf of the Republic of Armenia and recognizing "Artsakh" as a part of another state by his actions shall be punished with imprisonment for a period of 10 to 15 years."

The second proposal envisages that the public official who speaks on behalf of the Republic of Armenia, denies the fact of the "Armenian genocide" in the Ottoman Empire in 1915 or reduces its historical importance and danger with his statements and other actions shall be punished with deprivation of liberty for a period of 10 to 15 years. holds

"HayaKve" socio-political initiative is holding a rally in front of the building of the Armenian parliament in support of the draft law being considered by the state and legal issues committee, and invites all those who support the initiative to join the action by inviting them to the parliament.

That's only half the battle. It is not yet known whether the proposed additions to the Criminal Code of Armenia will be taken into account. It is known that the government refused to recognize and finance the separatist "Artsakh" leaders. Moreover, the prime minister recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including the former "Nagorno-Karabakh". Recently, the negotiations regarding the peace agreement and border delimitation have been intensifying. Therefore, it is doubtful that the initiative of "HayaKve" will be taken into account.

What is interesting is what Ovanes Ishkhanyan, who is known as a public figure and publicist in Armenia, told journalists near the parliament building. Ishkhanyan, who participated in the action of the "HayaKve" initiative, said: "It is impossible to consider the page of Armenian Artsakh closed, because Artsakh is our property and it is our homeland, the abode of our ancestors."

According to him, putting "Artsakh" out of your mind means gradually doing the same thing in relation to Armenia: "If we can come to terms with the fact that Artsakh does not exist, then we can also come to terms with the fact that there will be no Sūnik, Tavush territories will surrender, and Armenian statehood may not exist."

In his opinion, in order to create opportunities for the return of the people of "Artsakh", it is necessary to exclude those who intervened in the struggle for "Artsakh": "In order to eliminate this obstacle, a culture of cooperation must be formed in Armenia, of course. "AyaKve" initiative is one of those that shape this culture.

The coordinator of the initiative, Avetik Chalabyan, has almost come to terms with the loss of "Artsakh" and believes that the struggle started today "may be the key to its return". He says: "Artsakh belongs to those who live there. If today they are living in Armenia as required by the situation, everything should be done so that they can return to Artsakh someday. "HayaKve" wants to enable us to do this.

Here, many people in Armenia regretted the voluntary departure of Karabakh Armenians after the events of September 19-20 of this year. Now they are trying to operate on the principle of "maybe they returned it". But one of our proverbs says that a stone thrown from a branch hits the ankle. Although we do not know where such stones hit in Armenia, we see that the train has already left and has taken with it a community that has been immersed in great sins in the area where they lived for about 30 years - the Armenians of Karabakh.

Of course, during this migration, Azerbaijan's good will and calls to Armenians to stay in Karabakh and continue their lives were not taken into account. Unfortunately, instead of peaceful coexistence in the region, Armenia and the leaders of the so-called separatist regime took the line of abusing the migration of Armenians against Baku. Look, the attempt of Armenian patrons to put pressure on Baku by slandering them today is nothing more than the juggling act of Armenian politicians. Supposedly, France, the United States, or the European Union will return the Armenians who left Karabakh voluntarily. But all these remain raw dreams.

The initiative of those who want to cry for "Artsakh" in front of the Armenian parliament will remain a futile attempt. There are already reports that the government has attracted police forces in front of the parliament building. It seems that in this country stones thrown from a branch by a police baton hit the head, not the ankle...
