US Department of the Treasury's Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Brian Nelson will visit Türkiye, where he intends to discuss the supply of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, reads a statement released by the press service of the US Treasury, Report informs.
The document notes that Nelson will visit the Omani capital Muscat, as well as Ankara and Istanbul, from November 26 to December 1, where he intends to raise the issue of exerting financial pressure on the Palestinian radical movement Hamas, as well as restrictive measures against the Russian Federation.
In Türkiye, he will discuss efforts to prevent, disrupt, and investigate trade and financial activities aimed at supporting the war in Ukraine.
