Novak: Russia ready to expand co-op with Türkiye in nuclear sector

Russia sees prospects for expanding cooperation with Türkiye in the field of nuclear energy, in particular, it is considering the participation of its contractors in the construction of small nuclear power plants, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission of the two countries on trade and economic cooperation in Ankara, Report informs referring to Interfax.

 

Novak added that the countries plan to implement new joint projects, including in the key area of energy. Novak also noted the stability of Russian energy supplies to Turkish consumers.

 

Novak also said that Russia intends to increase the import of Turkish agricultural products, including by increasing the range.
