As part of their trip to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, an Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Tahir Budagov has visited the Quang Ninh province to meet with acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy.

Cao Tuong Huy said that cooperation between Vietnam and Azerbaijan serves the national interests of both countries, adding that the active political dialogue creates a reliable basis for the development of relations in all areas.

Noting that Vietnam attaches importance to the development of ties and multifaceted cooperation with Azerbaijan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province lauded Azerbaijan's development model.

Cao Tuong Huy said that the expansion of relations between the New Azerbaijan Party and the Vietnamese Communist Party (VCP) meets the interests of the two countries. Stressing the importance of signing the agreement on cooperation between the two parties as part of the YAP delegation's visit, Cao Tuong Huy expressed his confidence that the close cooperation between the parties would contribute to the development of Azerbaijan-Vietnam ties.

The YAP Deputy Chairman Tahir Budagov said that Azerbaijan and Vietnam enjoy fruitful cooperation in many fields.

Highlighting the dynamic development and wide potential of Azerbaijan`s regions, Budagov touched upon the prospects of cooperation between the two countries` regions.

Tahir Budagov also emphasized the significant role of political parties in developing intergovernmental ties, and stressed the importance of cooperation between the New Azerbaijan Party and the Vietnamese Communist Party (VCP).

The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
