A number of influential German media outlets have published articles highlighting the meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, scheduled to be held in Washington at the invitation of President of the United States Donald Trump.

The articles, published by "Spiegel", "Zeit", "Tagesschau", "Berliner Zeitung" and other media outlets, noted that President Donald Trump initiated a new effort to resolve the conflict, and invited the leaders of both countries to a Peace Summit to be held at the White House. Citing Donald Trump's post on the "Truth Social" platform, the Washington meeting was described as a crucial step towards normalizing relations between the two countries. It was emphasized that this meeting could significantly contribute to regional peace, prosperity and economic cooperation.

In addition to peace talks, the articles highlighted the United States' intention to sign bilateral economic agreements with Armenia and Azerbaijan. The articles also mentioned that the planned agreements include discussions on constructing a corridor through Armenia, noting that this corridor would feature railways, oil and gas pipelines, and optical internet lines to facilitate future cargo and passenger transportation.

The articles provided an insight into the history of the conflict, as well as peace negotiations, highlighting the importance of reaching an agreement on a peace treaty between the two countries in March, as well as the meeting held between President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Abu Dhabi in July this year.
