On August 10, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, will leave for Cape Town, the capital of the Republic of South Africa, to participate in the G20 Interfaith Forum.

The four-day event, held under the theme “Faith in Action,” will bring together diverse stakeholders, from religious and spiritual traditions, other civil society organizations, government representatives, multilateral entities, and academia.

As part of the forum, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade will deliver a speech at the opening plenary session. He will also join various cultural programs and hold meetings with event participants and official representatives.

The G20 Interfaith Forum (IF20) offers an annual platform where a network of religiously linked institutions and initiatives engage on global agendas (primarily on and including the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs) ahead of G20 Summits. Having participated at the previous forums held in Bologna and Bali, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade will attend the event at the invitation of President of the Forum Cole Durham.
