Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova meets with Prime Minister of Croatia

Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has met a delegation led by Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković.

 

During the meeting, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova highlighted the friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation that unites the two countries. The Speaker said that bilateral relations have been successfully developed in recent years and risen to the level of strategic partnership. Sahiba Gafarova emphasized the importance of high-level reciprocal visits and meetings in terms of deepening bilateral relations, and noted the importance of the visits of the Presidents of both countries.

 

The parties emphasized the role of the friendship groups operating in the parliaments of both countries in the development of bilateral relations, and noted the special role of regular contacts, dialogue and exchange of ideas in deepening existing relations.

 

“Azerbaijan aspires for peace. The peace will ensure stability and security across the whole region,” the Speaker of the Milli Majlis mentioned.

 

Saying that he was glad to visit the Azerbaijani parliament, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković informed about the goals of his visit to Azerbaijan and the meetings held in the country.

 

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković emphasized the importance of reciprocal visits between Croatia and Azerbaijan, adding that he discussed many issues within the framework of this visit.

 

The pair also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
