An Azerbaijani delegation is participating in the 8th Caspian Media Forum held in Astrakhan, the Russian Federation, the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan told AZERTAC.

As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation visited the monument to the Great Leader in the park named after National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the "Eternal Flame of Glory" monument in the Fraternal Garden and laid flowers in front of them.

Then the delegation met with Governor of Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin.

During the meeting, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan Ahmad Ismayilov expressed gratitude on behalf of the delegation for the organization of the 8th Caspian Media Forum. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation and mutual exchange of experience in achieving successful development in the field of media.

As part of the visit, the heads of delegations also held a meeting.

The 8th Caspian Media Forum will continue its work with plenary sessions.
