A photographic project entitled "Kharibulbul", based on the collection of the same title by famous Azerbaijani fashion designer Gulnara Khalilova, has been successfully presented in Norway.
The project involves a musician, photographer and designer, who have decided to combine their talents in a project serving as a bridge of cultural dialogue between Norway and Azerbaijan.
“For further publicity, we decided to implement this project with the well-known Norwegian photographer, a native of Azerbaijan Fariz Nadir Rzayev and his wife, pianist Aida Ramazanova. The photography session where amazing shots are captured has been held in the central districts of Oslo, including Bjørvika Barcode and on the roof of the Oslo Opera House," said Gulnara Khalilova.
Gulnara Khalilova is a member of the Eurasian Ethno Designers Association. She also heads the Azerbaijan National Clothing Center. Her collections have been successfully exhibited at fashion weeks and international events in the U.S., UK, Sweden, Austria, Romania, Türkiye, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Norway, Serbia and other countries. Khalilova is the author of a number of books dedicated to the traditions of clothing, including the history of Azerbaijan national clothing, the textbooks and catalogues for higher education institutions.
