In the 19th century, when there were no computers or programming, the first program was created by a female mathematician, Ada Lovelace.
This historical figure, whose real name is Augusta Ada Byron, and known in the world as Ada Lovelace, was born in London in 1815 in the family of the famous English poet George Gordon Byron. When he was 1 month old, his father left the family and England. At a young age, he was directed by his mother to the subjects of mathematics and logic. Since childhood, Lovelace suffered from severe headaches that impaired his vision. In June 1829, he was paralyzed after measles. Although the doctors gave up hope on the girl who started walking with crutches only in 1831, she did not lose her enthusiasm and her interest in mathematics increased day by day.
Ada studied with some of the most famous scientists of the 19th century, such as William Friend, William King, Mary Somerville, Augustus De Morgan.
