A new president has been appointed to the International Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation.
According to the information obtained by "XQ", the Kazakh statesman Aktoty Raimkulov was appointed to this position by the decision of the heads of the Turkish states.
He said that the institution will actively continue its projects and activities in the direction of further deepening of relations based on common ethnicity, culture and history in the Turkish world.
It should be noted that A. Raimkulova was born on May 2, 1964 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He is an Honored Cultural Worker of his country, a composer. He worked as the Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan in 2019-2022.
It should be noted that the International Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation was founded on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and with the support of the heads of state of the Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. The Fund's Charter was adopted at the Bishkek Summit of the Turkic Council held on August 23, 2012.
Before that, the president of the International Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation was Gunay Efendiyeva.
