The well-known football player Gara Garayev made an interesting statement on the "Frame" program of the Bakupost.az website.
Speaking about his meeting with President Ilham Aliyev in Fuzuli, he noted that he met the late President Heydar Aliyev when he was a child.
According to the football player, at that time the President of Pakistan and Heydar Aliyev came to meet the internally displaced persons. They chose him from among the children to give flowers to the President of Azerbaijan. As can be seen from the video presented to us by Gara Garayev, Heydar Aliyev took him in his arms as soon as he saw him approaching and did not put him down until the end of his speech.
