Traditional mass running race dedicated to the 86th anniversary of world champion Tarverdi Aliyev

A traditional 12-kilometer race dedicated to the 86th anniversary of two-time European and one-time world champion among veteran athletes, Tarverdi Aliyev, was held on January 12, 2025, along Baku City's Boyukshor Boulevard. The event, which saw 160 participants, was organized by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the Zafar Running Club.

Representatives of Financial Chain Corporation (FCHAIN), led by Deputy General Director Valid Huseynov, participated in the race and performed admirably.
