The Russian delegation of archaeologists and geologists visited the Institute of Archeology and Anthropology of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) to explore the Paleolithic finds here.
The Director of the Institute Farhad Guliyev highlighted the ongoing international relations, international expeditions conducted in Azerbaijan and the efficiency of the joint research.
During the meeting, the sides agreed to work out a Memorandum between the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Archeology and Anthropology of ANAS. This memorandum aims to strengthen mutual cooperation and facilitate the joint study of Paleolithic monuments in Azerbaijan.
