The 10th meeting of customs service heads from the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is being held in Baku.
According to Report, the event is attended by representatives of customs services from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as delegates from the UN, International Road Transport Union, and customs services of Georgia and Hungary.
The meeting focuses on the implementation of decisions made at the 9th meeting, the creation of a simplified customs corridor, the Trans-Caspian Customs Transit Portal project, and other relevant issues.
During the event, the protocol of the 10th meeting, technical conditions for data exchange between customs administrations of member countries, and an action plan for implementing the e-TIR procedure in accordance with the TIR Convention (1975, Geneva) are planned to be signed.
