In August 2024, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC experienced a 38% increase in foreign tourists using its passenger services compared to the same month last year, Report informs, citing the CJSC.
Last month, around 651,000 passengers traveled on intercity (interdistrict) and suburban trains, reflecting a 24% rise from the previous year.
The Baku-Aghstafa-Baku route saw the highest growth, with a 41% increase in passengers.
