Azerbaijan's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.7 percent during January-April 2024 compared to the same period last year, Report informs, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

In January-April of 2024, the CPI in Azerbaijan amounted to 100.7% compared to January-April of 2023, including 99.3% for food, beverages, and tobacco products, 101.3% for non-food products, and 102.4% for paid services provided to the population.

In April 2024, the consumer price index was 100% compared to the same month of 2023, including 98.2% for food, beverages and tobacco products, 100.9% for non-food products, and 102% for paid services provided to the population.

In April, the consumer price index in Azerbaijan stood at 99.9% compared to the previous month.

Last month, the consumer price index for food, beverages, and tobacco products was 99.6% compared to the previous month.

The consumer price index for non-food products in April2024 was 100.1% compared to March.

In March, the consumer price index for paid services to the population amounted to 100.1% from the previous month.
