Oil prices rise moderately after falling day before

Benchmark oil prices rose slightly on Thursday morning, recovering to some extent after falling to three-week lows the day before, Report informs via Interfax.

The price of June futures for Brent on the London ICE Futures exchange amounted to $87.49 per barrel - $0.2 (0.23%) higher than the close of the previous session.

On Wednesday, the futures fell in price by $2.73 (3%), to $87.29 per barrel.

WTI oil futures for May in e-trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.1 (0.12%) and amounted to $82.79 per barrel.

At the end of the last session, the futures fell in price by $2.67 (3.1%), to $82.69 per barrel, updating the minimum since March 27.

The day before, the US Department of Energy said that oil reserves in the country increased by 2.74 million barrels last week. Growth has been recorded for the fourth week in a row.
