The past five years have shown that tax authorities are capable of making their contribution to the implementation of Azerbaijan’s economic development strategy, the head of the State Tax Service under the Economy Ministry, Orkhan Nazarli, said at the forum “Tax system in the new development period: strategic goals for a sustainable economy” in Baku, Report informs.
“The new challenges that our economy faces today show that tax policy will be one of the main regulatory tools in the implementation of economic policy in the coming period. In the new strategic period of the country’s development, in order to ensure the sustainability of the economy and increase growth rates, we are also increasing the tax policy effectiveness,” Nazarli noted.
