Last year, 17,362 people were involved in the self-employment program, Mustafa Abbasbayli, Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, told a briefing, Report informs.
According to him, 5,610 of those persons were women, 339 family members of martyrs, 1,246 internally displaced persons, 74 recipients of targeted state social assistance, 312 persons released from prison, and 2,973 young people.
Abbasbayli emphasized that during that period, the content of 18 packages for self-employment was expanded, and 13 new packages were created.
