The first deliveries of eggs from Azerbaijan to Russia are expected before the end of the week, and from Türkiye in the near future, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture said, Report informs via TASS.
"As an operational measure to saturate the domestic market, a decision was made to zero out import duties on chicken eggs, and negotiations are also underway with friendly countries to increase supplies of these products. The first deliveries are expected from Azerbaijan by the end of the week and from Türkiye in the near future. As a result, price dynamics are predicted to stabilize in the coming month,” the report says.
According to the ministry, according to the results of 10 months of 2023, egg production increased by 2.3%, to 31.74 billion units. The Ministry of Agriculture predicts continued positive dynamics for the year.
