Azerbaijan can enhance its ability to respond to cyber threats by using artificial intelligence-based technologies, Ilgar Musayev, the head of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Security, said at the opening ceremony of the training titled "New cyber defense methods supported by artificial intelligence in wireless communication" held in Baku, Report informs.

"The digital era brings new opportunities along with new challenges and problems. Wireless communication plays an important role in special-purpose systems, critical infrastructures, especially in smart city and smart village concepts, as well as in every aspect of daily life in the digital world. At the same time, the increasing complexity of cyber threats targeting these systems can create serious problems for national security and economic well-being," Musayev noted.

"Artificial intelligence gives us unprecedented opportunities to strengthen our cyber defense strategies, automatically detect threats, analyze large data flows, and identify vulnerabilities more flexibly and accurately. By using artificial intelligence-based technologies, we can increase our ability to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats in real time.

This training program is aimed at developing skills in using artificial intelligence not only for national security but also to ensure the security of wireless communication systems, which are crucial for the sustainability of modern economies," Musayev added.
