"Children Hotline" received 851 enquires in the last six months

The service, supported by Azercell, releases its semi-annual report for 2024

The "Children Hotline," providing unwavering social, psychological, and legal assistance to children facing difficulties, received 851 requests in January–June 2024. The requests covered legal support (335), psychological problems (195), social issues (120), education (68), healthcare (18), and other matters (115).

Out of the individuals who contacted the service, 77 were children, 55 were anonymous, and 719 were adults. Among the received requests, 393 were first-time calls, while 458 were a follow-up communication.

The "Children Hotline" target group includes individuals under 18 years of age and those involved with their issues. The service reviews the requests, ensures their referral to relevant institutions, provides 24/7 support for various issues, from daily topics to serious matters like violence and bullying, and regularly conducts awareness-raising activities.

In general, the service has received over 72,800 requests since its launch in 2010.

The "Children Hotline" operates through the short number 116111, four mobile lines (+994 50 680 22 80, +994 51 580 22 80, +994 51 880 11 80, +994 51 880 22 80), email ([email protected]), social networks "Facebook" and "Instagram", and the "ushaqqaynarxetti" mobile application.
