At the CES 2024 exhibition, the Canadian medical technology company NuraLogix presented an innovative device called Anura MagicMirror, which scans the human face, including blood vessels under the skin, and identifies symptoms of dozens of diseases based on the obtained data.

"Anura MagicMirror" is a desktop device with a 21.5-inch screen, cameras and other sensors. The device scans the face, focusing primarily on blood flow analysis. This gadget uses a unique transdermal optical imaging technology to detect blood vessels in the facial area. Machine learning algorithms use this data to analyze more than 100 health parameters.

"MagicMirror is reported to be able to provide information on blood pressure, body mass index, heart rate variability, heart rate, respiration rate and facial skin age. The device can also assess the risk of developing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, hypertension, fatty liver and other diseases. It provides a mental health risk assessment and identifies symptoms of anxiety disorders and depression.

The process of scanning the face takes only 30 seconds, after which the user receives information about potential pathologies.
