Gennadiy Golovkin, President of World Boxing and Head of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, visited Baku.
He attended the opening ceremony of the AIGA Eurasian Grappling Championship, organized by United World Wrestling (UWW) and the International Amateurs Grappling Association (AIGA), as a guest of honor.
In his address, Golovkin emphasized the importance of the tournament. He also watched the match of Kazakh athlete Bekzat Kapashov.
At the conclusion of the event, the World Boxing President was presented with a traditional Azerbaijani carpet.
