Aylin Babayeva, a resident of Salyan district, Azerbaijan, has qualified for a math olympiad in Boston, the US, Report informs.
Babayeva has previously achieved success in local and international math olympiads.
She lives in the Chukhanli village of the Salyan district and studies in the 5th grade at the Salyan city secondary school.
"I have been participating in local and international olympiads since the fourth grade. I have been awarded silver medals. Later, I regularly participated in competitions," Babayeva highlighted.
Currently, the eleven-year-old student has 44 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals. In addition to winning several cups, she has been awarded nearly 300 certificates and diplomas.
Most recently, she participated in the international olympiad called MathXCEL and CogATXCEL held in Baku on December 27, 2024. In the olympiad held among 44 countries, she scored 89 out of 96 possible points, earning a silver medal and the right to participate in the finals in the United States.
After the US, Babayeva is preparing for a math olympiad to be held in Singapore in July.
