Kazakhstan named host of 2026 Future Games

Phygital International has announced that Kazakhstan will host the 2026 Games of the Future following a highly competitive bidding process, according to Insidethegames.biz portal.

Countries from around the world competed for the opportunity to host this prestigious annual event, with Kazakhstan ultimately selected by the Phygital International Expert Committee.

Kazakhstan's successful bid was attributed to its experience in hosting international tournaments, state-of-the-art sports facilities and a strong blend of sport, culture, tradition and innovation. This winning combination impressed the expert judges and solidified Kazakhstan as the next destination for the Games of the Future.

The Games of the Future is a unique global tournament that combines physical and digital (phygital) sports, featuring elite athletes and e-sports professionals from around the world. The 2025 edition will be held in the United Arab Emirates, with Kazakhstan now set to carry the torch to 2026. Thousands of world-class competitors representing multinational clubs will take part in a series of digital sports challenges.

The Games of the Future are inclusive and welcome participants of all ages, genders and nationalities. The deadline for submitting bids to host the 2027 edition is 31 December 2024.
