Azerbaijani taekwondo fighter advances to Paris 2024 semifinals

Azerbaijan’s taekwondo fighter Gashim Magomedov (58kg) has advanced to the semifinals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

He secured his place by defeating Spain’s Adrian Vicente Yunta 2-0 (11-5, 13-11).

Magomedov will next face Italy’s Vito Dell'Aquila.
