The Youth Ecological Synergy Center (YES! Center) has been established at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

The opening ceremony of the Center began with a speech by BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov. Speaking about the importance of environmental education and sustainable development of youth, the rector emphasized that “the Center will play an important role in this area”.

Professor Fuad Veliyev, a chief mentor and scientific director at YES! Center, made a presentation on environmental issues. He noted that the future activities of the Center will contribute to solving environmental issues and ensuring sustainable development.

At the end of the event, Head of Quality Assurance Department and Coordinator of YES! Center Guldana Hidayatli provided extensive information about the mission and planned projects of the Youth Ecological Synergy Center.

The main objectives of the center are as follows:

1. To educate young people in the field of sustainable development and environmental protection, and to encourage their active participation in these areas.

2. To encourage scientific research and innovation in environmental practices;

3. To build a community of ecological synergy leaders.

The main objective of the Center is to raise environmental awareness among young people and implement projects aimed at protecting the environment.
