An Azerbaijani delegation led by the Rector of Baku State University (BSU) is participating in the World Academic Summit, organized by the prestigious "Times Higher Education" (THE) rating organization at the UK University of Manchester.

The Azerbaijani delegation presented its stand in the summit. The World Academic Summit provides a great opportunity for the Baku State University to build on cooperation with world’s prestigious universities, to study their experience in order to raise the BSU’s position in the international rankings, to discuss new joint projects, as well as exchange to share their experiences in the field of scientific research.

Themed “Making a difference: The purpose of universities in a rapidly changing world”, the event brings together world’s most inspiring thought leaders and influential changemakers to explore how higher education, industry and policymakers can work together to ensure that universities can act as drivers of positive change within local, national and international communities.
