A total lunar eclipse will take place on March 14 and will last for 3 hours and 38 minutes.

According to Report, which cites the Department of Astrophysics at Baku State University, the eclipse will begin at 09:09:33 Baku time and end at 12:47:48.

The total eclipse phase will last from 10:26:06 to 11:31:26, with its peak expected at 10:59:56.

For 65 minutes, the Moon will take on a reddish-orange hue, a phenomenon known as the "Blood Moon." This occurs because sunlight passing through Earth's atmosphere scatters, allowing only long-wavelength red light to reach the Moon, giving it its distinctive color.

The eclipse will be best visible to observers in North and South America, the Pacific Ocean region, Western Europe, and Western Africa.

In Azerbaijan, the eclipse will not be visible, as the Moon will be below the horizon at that time.
