Iraq is ready to work together with Türkiye in the fight against terrorism, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said in his speech in Bursa, Report informs.

He said that the other side admitted for the first time that the PKK terrorist organization was acting against the interests of Iraq: "We will follow the opportunities, we will evaluate the opportunities. Türkiye plays an important role in the establishment of the new world order. It is no coincidence that the thesis of our president, ‘the world is bigger than five’ echoes everywhere."

Fidan emphasized that Türkiye is now a game-maker and an actor who changes the game when necessary: "We see this in our strategy to fight terrorism. The success achieved in the fight against terrorism in the last 21 years is obvious. We continue to clean up the scourge of terrorism not only in our country but also beyond our borders. Iraq has promised to work together with us in the fight against terrorism. Cooperation with our Iraqi brothers will continue."
