Russia exported 8 million tons of LNG to China last year, which is 23% more than in 2022, according to the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, Report informs referring to TASS.
The Russian Federation took third place among the largest suppliers of LNG to China.
The value of exports for the reporting period amounted to $5.2 billion, which is 24.6% less than the year before.
The first and second places among the largest suppliers of LNG to China are held by Australia (24.2 million tons) and Qatar (16.7 million tons).
In December 2023, Russia supplied China with 519,000 tons of LNG, which is 14.8% less than in November.
