Türkiye is working toward ensuring regional and international stability, Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler said at a meeting held in Istanbul with his counterparts from Bulgaria and Romania regarding the strengthening of cooperation against mine threats in the Black Sea, Report informs.
He said that Türkiye, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is making diplomatic efforts to ensure stability in the Black Sea region: "The ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia has created a mine threat in the Black Sea."
According to the minister, cooperation between Türkiye, Bulgaria and Romania continues for this purpose: "According to the agreement we signed today, a committee will be established. And that committee will make decisions by voting."
