The Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR hosted the closing ceremony of the "What are the solutions for better energy transition?" competition.
The ceremony was attended by BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov, Maire Vice-President for Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia Lucio Negro, Maire Vice-President for Central Asia, the Caspian region and Türkiye Nicolo Heilpern, First Secretary of the Italian Embassy in Baku Marvin Seniga, Maire Project Engineer, BHOS graduate Zarifa Orujeva, and Maire Human Resources Manager Aida Bashirova.
A number of Maire representatives, including Vice President for Institutional Relations, Communications and Sustainability Nicolais Carlo, joined the event online.
The winners of the competition were Block Power and Climasel teams, each of which received a cash prize of 3000 manat.

A total of 37 teams from BHOS applied for the competition.
The aim of the competition, organized by the Italian company Maire, was to support students in developing innovative ideas in the field of energy transition and to share international experience in this field.
