ADA University to train specialists in architecture, urban planning in Azerbaijan

The Faculty of Design and Architecture at ADA University is set to actively help train new professionals in architecture, design, and urban planning in Azerbaijan, according to Silvia Ferraris, the faculty dean, Report informs.

Speaking on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of new specialties within the Italian-Azerbaijan University project, Ferraris highlighted that Azerbaijan's rapid development requires enhanced personnel potential in these fields.

"This year I'm very excited to say that we are launching two new programs. One is in urban planning and the other in communication design. Azerbaijan is a country that is fastly growing with very thrilling changes and opportunities in cultural and economic fields. And so we as ADA School of Design and Architecture will participate by promoting the education of new architects, designers and urban planners," she said.

Ferraris also highlighted, "Urban planners will be key in the development of the city of Baku but also in the regional areas because there are many opportunities and challenges to make sustainable projects, innovative projects for the land and the territory and communication designer will help companies and institutions to develop their own communication strategies, to develop their values and their identities."
