Salimov noted the significance of Jordan's Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II's participation in the global climate conference COP29 in Baku last November. He emphasized that during the conference, the Prince held productive negotiations with Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev and announced Jordan's launch of a climate initiative, which gained support from many countries.
According to the diplomat, the Jordanian-Azerbaijani Cultural Association, headquartered in Amman, plays an important role in the comprehensive development and strengthening of ties.
The diplomat recalled that with Azerbaijan's support, a computer laboratory for students with disabilities was opened at the University of Jordan. The project was implemented by Azerbaijan's Agency for International Development Assistance (AIDA), and the laboratory was equipped with all necessary equipment and technical means. Thanks to this, students gained access to modern educational tools and resources, which contributes to developing their potential and rapid integration into society.
