Delegation from Chinese University visits Baku Higher Oil School

A delegation of China's Southwest Petroleum University and the head of the China University of Petroleum have visited the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS).

 

As part of the visit, the delegation toured the campus of Baku Higher Oil School in order to familiarize themselves with the teaching conditions, material and technical base, social infrastructure and research environment created at the university.

 

At the meeting with the delegation, BHOS Vice-Rector for Education and Scientific Affairs Sevda Zargarova highlighted the conditions created at the university to ensure high-quality education, the application of innovations in the education process, the admission process, the achievements of students and graduates, exchange programs, and the opportunities for cooperation.

 

Head of the International Relations Department of BHOS Konul Maharramova spoke about Baku Higher Oil School's relations with Chinese higher education institutions. She noted that several Chinese students are studying at BHOS. Konul Maharramova expressed confidence that the cooperation with Southwest Petroleum University and the implementation of teacher/student exchange programs will be mutually beneficial.

 

Head of the International Relations Department of the Chinese University Dai Lei emphasized the importance of preparing a Memorandum of Understanding that would outline the directions of cooperation between China's second largest petroleum university and Baku Higher Oil School.

 

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on areas of mutual interest.
