An Azerbaijani delegation led by Anar Alakbarov, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, met with an Uzbek delegation led by Tamila Alieva, Head of Executive Organ of the Zamin International Public Foundation.
During the meeting, the sides inked a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two Foundations.
The meeting focused on contribution of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Zamin International Public Foundation to the bilateral relations and high-level interactions between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
Moreover, the parties discussed the collaboration in such domains as healthcare, education and culture, as well as exchange of experience and reciprocal visits between young people from the two countries.
They also mulled cooperation with the Zamin Foundation within the COP29 conference, scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan this November.
The main objective of the Zamin International Public Foundation is to contribute to the sustainable development of Uzbekistan and to promote higher living standards for the country’s population. The Foundation focuses on the long-term, strategically important and sustainable projects by supporting environmental and social spheres.
