Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, welcomed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s decision to lift restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia through Azerbaijani territory.
Addressing a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union in Moscow, Pashinyan said that the positive regional dynamics have created new opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation.
“Unblocking regional communication lines can significantly boost economic stability and expand ties among all countries in the region,” he noted.
The Armenian PM described Azerbaijan’s decision as a crucial step toward ensuring peace and stability in the region.
