Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev visited the State of Qatar to participate in the 23rd International Doha Forum.
Addressing the panel session on climate diplomacy, Fariz Rzayev highlighted the country's policy on the transition to green energy and the use of alternative energy sources, as well as the progress and achievements of Azerbaijan’s Presidency of COP29, its contributions to the COP30 event held in Brazil in November of this year, and the ongoing efforts of the COP Presidencies Troika within the framework of international climate diplomacy.
As part of his visit, Fariz Rzayev also met with the leadership and teaching staff of Lusail University in Qatar, as well as the leadership of the Center for International Policy Research.
